Ben mandals and other pleasures

ben_mandals.jpg
Ben, Berkeley, CA Canon Rebel Xti

Things to celebrate and enjoy:
Ben's first new pair of mandals!

If my husband's art group Rebar and Superhero collaborated on a project, it would certainly be this.

This funny, moving and passionate Ted talk by Isabel Allende

The Weepies new album will be coming out April 22nd! I have heard it and it is beautiful.

Another fascinating and inspiring Ted talk by Jill Bolte Taylor

Completely mesmerized by the photos in this project: The Ones We Love (via Maile)

I love the shoes! I am going to have to get some for my 1 year old.

And oh my! I am now in love with The Weepies! I downloaded their last album and now I can't wait for the next. Thanks for sharing!

Your little one is too sweet. He looks a little like my Lukka (especially in a 'boat hat' and 'mandals'!), my heart melts!

Thank you so much for linking to 'The Ones We Love" art project. It got me through a tough half an hour at work with a dreary day outside my window! I'm so inspired to take pictures of the ones I love. Thanks from one Andrea to another!

Ben is so danged cute!

Thought the title meant to read "mandalas" until I saw the picture. He's so gorgeous.

I've watched both of those TED talks. Jill Taylor just blew me away - have you seen her stained-glass brains?

I like that bling for towns. Just lately I heard of "earrings for trees", so why not beads for bollards? Looks great!

Andrea,
Thanks for sharing that link to TED.com and the Allende talk. It was truly inspiring.

I especially like that she totally set everyone up for the punch by disarming them with the Olympic torch story! Wonderful, powerful, hopeful.

Thanks so much.

I liked is so much, I joined TED.com
