It’s a mitzvah for others to help.

The Morning Mantras class starts next Tuesday! Click above to hear a sneak peek into the series.

Here are the details again:

  • Every weekday for 6 weeks, you will receive a voice message in your inbox.
  • Each message will focus on a mantra designed to awaken your courage, compassion and joy.
  • It will be a morning dose of inspiration + also a jumping-off point for discussion inside the classroom.

Some sample mantras:

Turn on the f*cking faucet. (You can listen to this one here.)
Let it be simple.
Trade your fear for curiosity.

I love imagining all of us waking up together + having a cup of tea while listening to the same audio message. Let’s explore growing our courage, compassion + joy together!

$49 Class begins next Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014

What a great lesson. You reminded me that I’ve done that to one of my best girlfriends. I didn’t give her the opportunity to listen to and be with me and then she asked, “Why didn’t you tell me?!” Like you said, I thought I was a bother, but she felt left out and then, it became easy for her to not share with me . . . not maliciously, but I’d set a precedent that we didn’t matter. Wow–what a lesson.

Just the other day I was trying to think through why I resist asking for help when I am always so happy to help others … thanks for this, just what I needed!

I need to hear this on repeat ad infinitum. Amanda Palmer is coming out with a book based on her TED Talk of the same name called “the Art of Asking.” Maybe if I hear it enough in enough ways it will finally start to sink in. Thanks for this!
